Making an appointment

The Doctors are still operating a triage first process.  If they feel they need to see you the will arrange a time to come to surgery.

Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and the Phlebotomist are all operating as normal.

If you call the surgery before 10:00am you will be offered a routine appointment on the same day if available.  You can book an appointment up to four weeks in advance with either the doctor, nurse and Health Care Assistant.

Appointments with doctors are 5 minutes or 10 minutes per patient. Patients are required to book one appointment for one problem. If you want to discuss two problems please request a double appointment.

When doctors are away, either on holiday or attending conferences, we will only start booking appointments with them once they have returned to the surgery.

Patients can register to use our online appointment booking service. Please ask at reception for further information or click on the button below if you are already registered and wish to make an appointment.

We offer some early morning appointments with the doctor before 08:00 which are bookable up to four weeks in advance at either of our two surgeries.

Telephone consultations

If you wish to speak to a doctor please telephone the surgery before 10:00am.  The receptionist will take your telephone number and a brief description of the problem and the doctor will call you back after surgery.

Video consultations

We carry out video consultations where appropriate.
