….Used the telephone service yesterday – Dr Morgan phoned me at home within a minute of my request. Excellent service, much appreciated. Thanks very much. Jon Stevenson
….Over the Years as both an NHS Professional and user I have always been amazed at the wide ranging levels of GP service and provisions across the region but I am pleased to say that the systems and policies at Northwood have always stood out as exceptional and well above the norm. All the wonderful qualities I recongnise and appreciate in Northwood were highlighted in a few short minutes.
….Dear Dr Syed Thank you for your time with me and your advice.
….Dr Syed thank you for your letter it really helped
….Thank you for sending my referral to the QE Hospital. Thank you for persisting when Worcestershire turned me down.
….Just to say how much I have appreciated your kind support over the last year
….Thank you for knowing something was not right with my daughter
….Thank you from someone who knows how hard it is caring for someone.
….Dr Syed thank you so much for having me as a work experience student. It was a wonderful experience and a lot of that was down to your warm and very kind nature! Work experience has left me with a very open mind with regards to what field I want to work in for the future. Work Experience Student
….Dr Syed thank you so much for arranging my scan so quickly, I received treatment very quickly. Thank you again.
….Dr Syed many thanks for your letter. Your kind words and reassurance.
….To Reception “have a nice day” and thanks for your continuing patience.
….Dear girls (receptionists) thank you so much for helping me.
….Dr Potter I want to express my sincere thanks for all the great care and attention you gave my husband. He enjoyed his relationship he had with you over the last 21 years we have been at the Practice. I would also like to thank the nurses for the care they showed him when they dealt with him. They were always very kind.
Dr Morgan I am writing to thank you for your prompt visit of 18.11.2014. Your prompt intervention proved to be very effective. ?? was admitted to hospital within the hour. We returned from hospital late afternoon of the 21st November and it has been remarked that the colour has been restored to her face and her skin is looking much better. Thank you Dr for making this possible.
Dr Morgan I just wanted to thank you for the service I received from reception staff and the doctor I saw yesterday when I came in with the children. I am really pleased with the service I received and wanted you to know this. The staff go out their way to be helpful.
Dr Potter I would like to say a big thank you to you for taking such good care of my husband. Also thanks to Dawn and Reception Staff who were also very kind to him.
Patient attended Alvechurch Medical Centre and informed Dr Dakin that she was impressed with the reception staff at Alvechurch.
Dear Dr Dakin I would be grate if you would convey my thanks to the reception team and nursing staff for the courtesy and helpfulness they have always shown during my Anticoagulation care with your practice.
Patient today told Dr Syed she is a wonderful doctor!
Excellent Surgery. I have been with this surgery for 54 years and I have always experienced good high quality care. I have always been able to get an appointment whether it was pre booked or on the day. The doctors always listen and involve me in my care, if it wasn’t for their expertise my ear tumor would never have been picked up. I am more than happy with the service I receive. As far as reception staff are concerned they have always been polite with me people need to remember they are busy people.
i found all staff to be very helpful and supportive and very considerate in view of my medical condition , always available for support and very quick in identifying what was a critical condition allowing me to receive the emergency treatment required. Thank you, Ms T. (posted on NHS Choices)
The staff at this surgery have been and, are very supportive and helpful. When I needed them most they were there and, they sincerely cared about the situation they were involved with. I am not the only member of my family who has had a very high opinion of Northwood Medical Centre. I thank the reception staff and doctors for all they have done to support me and, for everything they did to help and support my late Dad through his cancer. Thank you to you all.
I thought the examination for the things I went in for were very thorough and dr Abdul was very courteous and kin
– GP and reception staff excellent. Book on the day system very stressful. Either can get through as
phone lines busy or appointments gone.
– It good we have this warfarin blood testing in our surgery what would be the options other wise
– The service i received by doctor Syed was excellent nurse and reception staff 1st class.
– The consultation was quick and efficient – no time wasted
– The prompt & efficient manner when dealing the patients.
– Quick efficient service
– The service and treatment I received was excellent, as always.
– Good service caring doctors and staff
– What I didn’t like was the wait my appointment was at 4-45 pm but didn’t get seen until 5-25 pm
– Doctor was very thorough
– My treatment at Alvechurch today was excellent, and has been through the treatment of this
– Dr Potter is an outstanding doctor so is Dr Dakin they always have time to listen to you and never
rush you and the receptionists are all outstanding x
I am very lucky to be a patient of Alvechurch especially when I hear tales from others elsewhere
The receptionists are willing helpful and on the ball and the 2 doctors I have seen are good old fashioned GP’s by being decisive and I am treated as a patient and not a box ticking exercise
I don’t need you a lot but thanks for when I do
Whilst the surgery is always busy, the Receptionists are helpful and efficient in gaining enough information to ensure that I get the best solutions for my problems, whether it be for blood tests, appointments to see my GP or a telephone appointments. I feel that as the first point of contact they are a key element of the surgery and they should be recognised as such. Having telephone consultations has in recent years enabled me to get the help and guidance that i have needed, particularly in times when my mobility is poor. 13.9.19
