Northwood Surgery is now open on Thursday afternoon but Alvechurch is closed so calls are directed to Northwood Medical Centre

There is an Urgent Care Centre next to Selly Oak Health Centre, 15 Katie Road Selly Oak Birmingham B29 6JG Tel: 0121 415 2095 to make an appointment. The Centre is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm seven days a week including Bank Holiday

We all understand the importance of nutrition for good health. We would therefore like to inform anyone who is struggling for food for themselves or their families of the following services:

For Northwood Patients
Patients can call 0121 303 1111 select food options and request a food voucher which they will arrange with the patient on the telephone. They will take patient name, telephone number and reason for the voucher.

For Alvechurch Patients
The Alvechurch Community Larder takes a £4 donation and provides £20 worth of food from Alvechurch Baptist Church Hall every Friday from 11am to 12.30pm.

For All Patients (including those needing Halal food):

Birmingham Central Mosque has a food bank open on Tuesday 12-2pm and Saturday 11-1pm. Please bring a form of ID.

Birmingham Outreach Foundation – provides free hot meals, fruit, snacks and drinks every Friday at 7pm on Tony Hancock Square, off Corporation Street, B4 7LL.
